Mary Dalbec has been the Carver County Court Administrator since 2017. She joined the Minnesota Judicial Branch, Fourth Judicial District in 2008 as a Criminal Senior Court Clerk. She held various positions within the Fourth District’s criminal division and was promoted to Court Operations Manager in January 2015. Before coming to the branch Mary worked as a Court Clerk for the City of Hazelwood Municipal Court in Missouri and as a Clerk for the Menomonie Police Department in Wisconsin. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Law Enforcement and Justice Administration, and a minor in Business with a focus in finance and accounting, from Western Illinois University. Mary is an active member of the Minnesota Association for Court Management (MACM) serving on the Education Committee and Membership Services Committee, and was the recipient of the MACM Early Career Excellence Award in 2016. She has participated in the Emerging Leaders Network (ELN), Supervisory Spectrum, Deep Dive, Management EDGE Program, and a mentor for ELN and Merging Minds. Mary became a Certified Court Manager from the National Center for State Courts in June 2017, and is pursuing her Certified Court Executive certification.
