Finance Committee
An organizational committee that works with the MACM Board to oversee the financial dealings of the MACM organization. The primary responsibility of this committee is to: establish accounting practices, ensure control over the finances, make sure that funding requirements and obligations are being fulfilled, that accurate financial records are maintained, and that financial matters are being conducted legally, ethically, and efficiently.

Jennifer Miller
President, Court Operations Manager, Hennepin County, Fourth Judicial District
Jennifer Miller is a member of the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and participates on MACM committees. She began her career in the court out of college 18 years ago. She has worked as a Senior Court Clerk, Court Clerk Lead Worker, Court Operations Supervisor and as a Court Operations Manager. For the first 12 years, she worked in the criminal division. For the last six years, she has been in Probate/Mental Health. Learning different case types and diving into the challenges of a specialty division has been extremely rewarding for Jennifer. She also had the opportunity to work on various projects and attend several leadership programs both locally and through SCAO. Jennifer values our organization and is proud to work with many amazing people who are dedicated to public service. She has been a member of MACM since 2010 and has attended the yearly conferences and other MACM events. She feels that her professional goals are closely aligned with the MACM mission and as MACM Secretary she has taken a very active role in the organization over the last four years.
Trisha Mernitz
First Vice President (Legislative & Outreach Committee Chair), Court Operations Supervisor, Seventh Judicial District
Trisha Mernitz is the Court Operations Supervisor for Otter Tail County in the Seventh District, over all lines of business. She began her career with the Branch in 2015, as a Court Operations Associate in the Criminal, Juvenile and CHIPS division and courtroom/scheduling clerk in Clay County Court Administration, and was promoted to Lead Worker in 2019. She moved into her current role in June of 2021. Trisha is an active member of the Minnesota Association for Court Management (MACM) since 2021, serving on the Legislative and Outreach Committee. She has participated in the Development in Action (DiA), Merging Minds, Lead Worker Series and Supervisory Spectrum programs. Trisha is pursuing her Certified Court Manager certification from the National Center for State Courts.
Angie Jonas
Second Vice President (Education Committee Chair), Administrative Services Supervisor, Second Judicial District
Angie Jonas is the current MACM Second Vice President and Education Committee chair. She began her career with the Minnesota Judicial Branch in 2000 where she was a Senior Court Clerk in Washington County. During her time in Washington County, Angie worked in the Civil, Criminal, and Court Scheduling divisions. In 2015, she transitioned to Ramsey County in the role of Criminal Calendar Coordinator. Angie is currently the Administrative Services Supervisor for the 2nd Judicial District. Angie has been an active member of both the Education and Membership Services Committees since 2016. She was the vice-chair of the Education Committee from 2018-2022.
Megan Bergman
Third Vice President (Membership Services Committee Chair), Multi-County Court Administrator - Benton/Mille Lacs, Seventh Judicial District
Megan Bergman has been the Multi-County Court Administrator for Benton and Mille Lacs counties since December 2021. She joined the Minnesota Judicial Branch, Tenth Judicial District in 2011 as a Senior Court Clerk for Isanti County. After that, she spent almost two years as the Criminal Duty Clerk for the U.S. District Court of Minnesota, working for the Federal Magistrate Judges, in St. Paul and Minneapolis. She also worked for the Minnesota Court Payment Center and following that was promoted to Calendar Coordinator/Supervisor for the 2nd District Criminal Division in Downtown St. Paul. Megan went back to the 10th District and took on a Court Operations Trainer role for the Criminal and Juvenile Delinquency case types. After that, she was promoted to Court Operations Supervisor for Isanti County in February of 2020. She was then promoted to Isanti County Court Administrator in June of 2020. Before coming to the Branch, Megan worked as a Behavior Analyst for the Department of Health and Human Services for a regional crisis department. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management, from Rasmussen University and has her Masters’ degree in Criminal Justice Leadership and Management from Concordia University in St. Paul in 2019 and graduated summa cum laude. Megan is an active member of the Minnesota Association for Court Management (MACM) serving on the Membership Services Committee and was the recipient of the individual State Court Administrator’s award in 2022. She has participated in the Supervisory Spectrum, Franklin Covey courses including Presentation Advantage, and many other judicial branch offered courses.
Katie Bloch
Secretary, Court Administrator - Kandiyohi, Meeker, and Swift Counties, Eighth Judicial District
Katie Bloch is the Court Administrator for Kandiyohi, Meeker, and Swift Counties in the Eighth Judicial District. She began her career as a Senior Court Clerk in Stearns County Court Administration in 2007. She attained the skills of working in each area of Court Administration which led her to a promotion as the Team Leader of the calendar division in 2014. In November 2015, she was promoted to Court Operations Supervisor for Mille Lacs County over all lines of business. She held that title until July of 2019 when she was promoted to her current role. Katie has her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology and Business from North Dakota State University. Katie has attained both her Court Certified Manager and Executive Certificates from the National Center for Courts. Katie is a current member of MACM and is the representative for the Eighth district on the membership services committee. Katie has facilitated courses in the lead worker series that is put on by SCAO. Katie has valued her time with the Minnesota Judicial Branch. Through her various committees, trainings, and positions held, she has developed a strong understanding of the significance of the Judicial Branch in relation to the role it plays in people’s lives and society and looks forward to continuing to assist in the advancement of the Branch in the future.
Meghan Knapp
Treasurer, Accounting Manager, First Judicial District
Meghan is the Accounting Manager for the First Judicial District and began her career with the Minnesota Judicial Branch in 2008 where she worked as an Office Assistant II in Court Services. In 2011 she moved to the First Judicial District where she worked as an Office Assistant III in both HR and Administration, before finally landing in the Finance Department in 2013 as an Accounting Technician. Meghan held two more positions while working in Finance; in 2016 she was promoted to Accounting Officer, and then promoted to Accounting Manager in 2019. Meghan has participated in the DiA, Merging Minds, and Supervisory Spectrum programs. Meghan has also attained both her Court Certified Manager and Executive certificates from the National Center for State Courts.
